Officiating weddings is one of the most incredible parts of ministry. It is an honor we do not take lightly. We cannot wait to walk this journey with you as you say YES to one another, say YES to weaving two lives together, and say YES living in love every day of your life.
Pre-Marital Counseling
Build communication, gain wisdom, deepen intimacy, discuss deeper issues, fall more in love... these are all the benefits of having someone sit down and work with you as a couple while you journey towards marriage.
Ceremony Planning
Your love is unique and your ceremony should be, too. We will carefully design your ceremony to reflect who you are as individuals and as a couple, keeping in mind what your special day is truly about.
Officiating
Officiating includes the rehearsal, the ceremony, and signing & mailing your marriage license. It can also include a prayer before your rehearsal dinner or the meal at the reception.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS WE WORK TOGETHER
Before…
PRE-MARITAL COUNSELING | Pre-Marital counseling is recommended, but not required. It can be an opportunity to connect more deeply to one another, learn each other's love languages, figure out how to communicate well, and strengthen your bond as a couple. The base fee covers two complimentary sessions, and any additional sessions are $50 each. They last an hour, and can be done in person or via Zoom/Skype.
CEREMONY PLANNING | Each bond of love is unique and a gift from God, and your ceremony should reflect that. For that reason, ceremonies are planned collaboratively between the couple and Pastor Kelsey. We want to be sure that your ceremony feels true to who you are as a couple and is a real celebration of the love you share. After our first initial meeting, several ceremony examples will be sent to you so you can get a feel for what you do or don't want to include. Much of this planning is done via email. We will then have at least one more follow-up meeting to finalize details.
REHEARSAL | We do require that Pastor Kelsey be present for the wedding rehearsal. This will allow her to walk you, your families, and your wedding party to have a feel for what will happen during the ceremony. Please plan at least 30 minutes to an hour.
Day of…
DAY OF | Pastor Kelsey will arrive at least an hour prior to the ceremony to touch base with the day-of planner and DJ (if you choose to have those). We will discuss ahead of time if you would like prayers with either side of the wedding party. Many couples like to do a prayer with the wedding party doing a laying-on of hands prior to the ceremony. If you would like a prayer before the meal at the reception, please let Pastor Kelsey know ahead of time.
COST | Base fee is $300 plus any travel or lodging expenses. This base fee includes all ceremony planning, the rehearsal, and all of the day-of, as well as two complimentary pre-marital counseling sessions.
